The Singapore Journey

By the mid 90’s, Multi-National Corporations (MNCs) were slowiyshifting manufacturing to China and other developing countries. Singapore was less competitive and more expensive. They couldn’t depend on large corporations to provide business and employment anymore. They had to shift their economic strategy.

The solution was to create more SMEs, which provided jobs and generated profits.

Singapore had to create more startups.

It is Obvious. Entrepreneurs are Critical to a Country's Economy!

But there was a big problem. The unofficial success rate of entrepreneurial startups had been a mere ...

What was the Secret Ingredient for success?

Changing the game

Mr. Fred Then, a partner of Peak My Performance, was appointed as the 1st Director of Entrepreneurship at the NTU Ventures. In NTU, he noticed that widely-used Silicon Valley methodology did not yield results in Asia. So, he worked and trialled a new, uniquely Asian approach.

They implemented a regime that focused on shifting the limiting beliefs and changing the “inner game”.

This was followed by the skill and knowledge training based on Design Thinking & Lean Startup Methodologies. The result? Team dropouts was reduced by 80% and success rates soared to 30% for software projects an 60% for hardware projects.

IT'S NOT ABOUT SKILLS

IT'S ABOUT MINDSET!

By changing the mindset, the resulting success rate improved from 2% to 30% for software business and 60% for hardware business. That was what happened.

Mindset!

How It Works?

Here's our secret (seriously).
This is how we turned 3% success rates to 30% just 6 months.

Change your inner game

Current thinking assumes that more knowledge or the right skills gets you to next success. That's crap. You cannot solve the problem at the same level as the problem. We've found that eliminating your negative beliefs is the fastest way to get positive and permanent changes in your life and your career.

Getting the right mindset

Knowledge is the easiest thing to acquire in today's world.
Yet people still fail. Why?

Steve Job (Apple), Richard Branson (Virgin), Akio Morita (Sony) succeeded because they had the mindsets which allowed them to create and persevere. We'll teach you how to acquire these right mindsets.

Practice, practice & practice!

You don't get to be a world class sprinter by thinking about it.

It's all about hard work and having a routine that allows you to practice and master the skills needed so that you can CREATE your own success!

Teach

Maybe this isn't as weird as it sounds. But we'll provide you with opportunities to teach what you have learnt. Teaching a subject is a proven brain hack to ensure that you internalise your knowledge/skill ... and it is a great way to pay it forward!
